D. B. Smith is a private school English tutor, social entrepreneur, and author of the Science Abbey website, promoting science, meditation and global community. Member of the IC Zen Center Board of Directors. Raised in the Midwest U.S.A., formerly a librarian and curator in the Washington, D.C. area, as well as a Freemason, today he resides on the tropical island of Java just south of Borneo.
