Integrated Humanist Global Coalition (IHGC) Charter

The Integrated Humanist Global Coalition (IHGC)

Human civilization is entering a decisive period in its history. The convergence of scientific discovery, technological acceleration, political instability, environmental stress, and global interdependence has created conditions of unprecedented complexity.

In this moment, the world faces a dual challenge: the need for reliable knowledge and the need for the civic maturity required to use that knowledge wisely. The Integrated Humanist Global Coalition (IHGC) was created to meet this challenge.

The IHGC is not a political movement, not an advocacy body, and not an arm of any government. It is a global educational and coordination initiative committed to one foundational idea: a scientifically informed, ethically grounded, and civically responsible humanity is essential for global stability and long-term flourishing.

The IHGC operates under the broader framework of Science Abbey and the Global Coordination Program (GCP). It is a non-governmental, research-based, educational coordination initiative designed to map, convene, align, and mobilize influential institutions and leaders around shared principles of scientific humanism, evidence-based governance, peaceful cooperation, civic resilience, and long-term civilizational flourishing.

The Coalition does not function as a political party, a government, or an enforcement body. It possesses no coercive authority and does not seek ideological domination. Its role is strategic, analytical, educational, and coordinative. The IHGC exists to strengthen humanity’s capacity to understand itself and organize responsibly within an increasingly complex world.

At its core, the Coalition advances the frameworks of Integrated Humanism.

Integrated Humanism is a scientific humanist worldview that seeks to integrate:

  • scientific inquiry and ethical responsibility
  • technological progress and human dignity
  • civic freedom and social stability
  • local diversity and global cooperation
  • analytical rigor and long-term planetary stewardship

The IHGC recognizes that modern civilization cannot remain stable through force, propaganda, or fragmentation alone. Durable societies require:

  • trustworthy information systems
  • scientifically literate populations
  • resilient civic institutions
  • ethical governance
  • peaceful cooperation across sectors and cultures

The Coalition therefore seeks to facilitate alignment among influential global actors while preserving institutional independence, cultural diversity, and democratic legitimacy.

Purpose of the Coalition

The Integrated Humanist Global Coalition exists to coordinate and strengthen constructive global systems through evidence-based analysis, strategic convening, educational development, and civic cooperation.

The IHGC views these objectives not as ideological ambitions, but as practical requirements for the continued stability and advancement of human civilization.

Charter of the Integrated Humanist Global Coalition (IHGC)

A Global Framework for Scientific Humanist Coordination, Civic Alignment, and Civilizational Stability

Preamble

Human civilization has entered an era of unprecedented interdependence.

Scientific advancement, artificial intelligence, global communications, financial integration, ecological pressures, and geopolitical complexity have created a world in which the actions of institutions and systems increasingly affect humanity as a whole. Yet while technological and economic systems have become global, ethical coordination, civic maturity, and evidence-based governance remain fragmented.

The Integrated Humanist Global Coalition (IHGC) is established to help address this imbalance.

The IHGC is a non-governmental, nonpartisan, research-based international coalition organized under the broader framework of Science Abbey and the Global Coordination Program (GCP). Its purpose is to convene, align, and coordinate influential institutions and leaders around principles of scientific humanism, evidence-based governance, civic responsibility, social stability, and long-term human flourishing.

The Coalition recognizes the dignity of all persons, the importance of scientific inquiry, the necessity of peaceful cooperation, and the responsibility of humanity to cultivate systems that promote truth, stability, freedom, resilience, and planetary sustainability.

The IHGC does not seek political domination, ideological coercion, or governmental authority. It exists as a framework for collaboration, analysis, education, strategic coordination, and constructive alignment across civilizations, institutions, and sectors.
