D. B. Smith is a private school English tutor, social entrepreneur, and author of the Science Abbey website. He is experienced in Freemasonry and several lineaged forms of meditation. Raised in the Midwest U.S., formerly a librarian and curator in the Washington, D.C. area, today he resides on the tropical island of Java just south of Borneo.
